- Cost-share assistance is available through LPSNRD and local USDA NRCS office for debris removal from waterways to support conservation efforts, as well as related brush management, tree clearing, streambank stabilization, and erosion control. Approved projects typically receive 50–65% cost-share. This program has been utilized in the past by counties to protect road infrastructure.
- To qualify for funding, landowners must apply through their local NRCS office and develop a conservation plan prior to initiating work.
