Permits


Water Well Construction Permit- (Link is temporarily inactive due to recent changes. Try again in a few days or contact the NRD) a permit is required for anyone constructing a well in a ground water management area unless the well is a single water well designed and constructed to pump 50 gallons per minute or less. A $50.00 filing fee payable to the "Lower Platte South NRD" should accompany the application.
Chemigation Permit-Chemigation is the applicaion of chemicals to a crop through an irrigation system. The procedure requires a state permit to be submitted annually to the NRD by June first. The NRD then conducts inspections of newly permitted equipment once every three years following the initial inspection.
NOI/NPDES Permit-Under City of Lincoln ordinances, any development of land on a site one acre or larger requires submission of this form by the developer or their consultant to the NRD for approval. It must be accompanied by a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
