Meters

The NRD utilizes various kinds of meters in three of its programs to protect ground water. Besides the forms linked below, NRD cost-sharing for the Water Meter and Fertilizer Meter programs requires these two forms:

Citizenship Attestation Form
IRS Form W-9

Water Meters - January 30, 2011 is the deadline for metering all wells in the District capable of pumping 50 gallons or more per minute.

Fertilizer Meters - This equipment increases accuracy of anhydrous ammonia fertilizer applications, saving money and protecting ground water.

Ultrasonic Meter - Ask the NRD ground water staff to use this equipment to test the pumping capacity of your well or check the accuracy of your water meter. It's free!
