Integrated Management Plan Stakeholder Advisory Committee, Monday, July 8, 4:30pm at the NRD office, 3125 Portia Street, Lincoln

The Lower Platte South Natural Resources District, in cooperation with the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources, is voluntarily developing an Integrated Management Plan. This plan will help to develop a comprehensive inventory of all available ground and surface water supplies and all current water uses, projection of future water use needs and identification of potential sources, and desired management of conservation programs.  The Integrated Management Plan will consider the effects of current and new water uses on existing surface and ground water users, and evaluate alternatives for additional water needed for municipal and industrial growth.

The LPSNRD will pursue the development of an Integrated Management Plan over the course of a year and will engage the public and all interested parties throughout the process to ensure all available input is taken into consideration.
